The BRSCC welcomes as title sponsor for the Formula Ford Festival. The announcement came as part of the inaugural Festival Promotion Day which took place at Brands Hatch today.

BRSCC Chairman, Peter Daly, an FF1600 racer himself, told the audience “We are really excited and grateful to have on board as the title sponsor of this prestigious event.

“It enables us to present live streaming of the whole festival meeting which will add benefits to all entrants and bring the excitement of the festival to a wider audience. On top of this the Formula Ford Festival winner will be presented with some of their finest hardware equipment”

James Mulley from attended the Promotion Day saying, “We are extremely excited to extend our working partnership with the BRSCC by becoming the title sponsor of the 2019 Formula Ford Festival.

“This is a class that is well suited for us to be sponsoring as a large amount of the cars on the grid will have at least one of our products on them, whether that be a Formula Steering wheel 3, EVO4S date logger, or Solo2 lap timer

“We could not be prouder to have our name alongside the world-renowned Formula Ford Festival. I would also like to thank Peter Daly and the whole team at BRSCC for putting on a fantastic event and now we are counting down to the Festival itself and another exciting weekend of racing.

Paul McErlaen, BRSCC Business Development, who worked  on this important sponsorship deal said “We are delighted that an innovative company like have come on board with the Festival as they have a passion for the racing, whilst sharing our vision of looking to the future of the festival.”

The Promotion Day included a presentation by club Chairman, Peter Daly along with a display garage which included a new Medina Formula Ford car courtesy of race team, B-M Racing and the opportunity for guests and current National FF1600 drivers to have a go on a fantastic race simulator and a race track set up from Scalextric, which both brought out the competitive nature of everyone.

The BRSCC Formula Ford Festival is a great weekend of racing for drivers, teams and spectators. The BRSCC aims to give entrants as much track time as possible, which includes the introduction of a Last Chance Heat at the end of Saturday.

The Festival has a number of sponsors who help make the event viable, Avon Tyres, Wilkens Kennedy and CamTech Security.

In addition, Peter Daly announced a series of Formula Ford Festival heat sponsors which enable competitors to enter a prize draw in each heat:

Heat One, sponsored by Hedtec, where the prize draw winner will get a crash helmet Heat Two, sponsored by Wiz Wheels, where the prize draw winner will get a set of Formula Ford wheels Heat three, sponsored by Raceparts with the prize draw winner getting a £500 raceparts voucher.

It is a real feast of racing as joining this year are the Classic FF1600 Championship, the Sports 2000 Pinto and Sports 2000 Duratec championships, the ASK Irish Supercars and Global Lights, as well as the BRSCC’s own Fiesta and Fiesta Junior Championship racing with MRF Tyres, the latter of which is part of an aim to establish a motorsport ladder within BRSCC to encourage competitors to develop their careers.
